Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of daily specials and seasonal menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling and storage.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques in the culinary field.
