We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality meal preparation.
