We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive takeout experience. Duties
Prepare ingredients and cooking of various dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Assist in menu planning and daily specials as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods.
