We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in the kitchen, working collaboratively with other staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods.
Experience in the food service industry is highly desirable.
