At Great Canadian Burger, we are dedicated to utilizing only the finest ingredients to craft a great burger and hold our staff to the same high standard. We are currently seeking a great, reliable, and dynamic line/ prep cook to join our team. This is a key position that requires a high standard of preparing raw ingredients that are ready for consumption in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do in this role?

Duties:

Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere Prepare ingredients for cooking (including chopping vegetables, making sauces, grinding meat, and blanching fries) Provide exceptional service and ensure accurate orders for delivery partners and allot outstanding service that meet their requirements Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages. Follow recipes and presentation specifications. Collaborate and assisting kitchen and service teams Support cashier when needed

Skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience as a cook or in food preparation is an asset Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, grinding and blanching foods etc) Customer satisfaction-oriented Work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and time management skills Problem solving and decision making Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 20 kg
