We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and have a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Familiarity with food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations within the food industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.
A passion for meal preparation and a desire to create delicious dishes for guests.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
