We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring out portions.
Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure an appealing visual display.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Familiarity with serving techniques and meal preparation processes is a plus.
