We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant or food service environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy periods, including serving guests when necessary
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality standards
