We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and maintain quality
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintaining equipment
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to quality in meal preparation
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
