We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple orders simultaneously
Follow food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
High quality closing of kitchen while maintaining cleanliness standards
Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure during busy hours
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are preferred
