We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards while ensuring exceptional service.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and meal preparation.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
