We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive delicious meals prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
