We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Ensure that all cooking equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
