We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in food preparation. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup, cooking, and cleanup tasks.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen.
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members.
