We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing delicious meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and cleaning up after service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food handling and safety practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
