Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in meal preparation Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.48-$23.84 per hour
