We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
