We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and have a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food served. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn new cooking techniques. Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
