We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our guests receive delicious and safe dining experiences.
Duties
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus.
Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
