We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service of food
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen
