Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
