Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meal preparation. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met while assisting in the preparation of delicious meals for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills in meal preparation.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
