We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety guidelines.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
