We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storage, and preparation of food
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods
Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
Open availability preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
