We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and cooking, along with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food service operations
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
