We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for various events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Utilize knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and presentation. Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to meal preparation and service. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, with a focus on food preparation and cooking. Familiarity with fine dining concepts and standards is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department is an advantage. Strong knife skills and ability to prepare various types of cuisine. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Experience in catering or event meal preparation is beneficial but not mandatory. Pay: $15.80-$17.00 per hour
