Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage and handling practices. Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed to prevent contamination and ensure the health of our guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service within the food industry. Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
