We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with a commitment to food safety and service excellence.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards.
Cook menu items to perfection, ensuring quality and presentation meet our restaurant's high standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in menu planning and development when needed, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, showcasing knowledge of food service operations.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
