We are seeking askilled and passionate line cooks/prep cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The line cooks/prep cooks will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef and sous chef in running the line.
Duties
Assist the Head chef and souschef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring food quality standards are met.
Prepare dishes according to instructions given by the head chef and sous chef.
Participate in food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes according to restaurant standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Prep menu items according to the recipes provided.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Proven experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
Creativity in cooking and willingness to contribute ideas for menu enhancements.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring quality output.
