We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols. Experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is preferred, along with excellent knife skills and culinary expertise. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection for daily specials or events
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling dishes
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed
Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or the food industry
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous
Familiarity with catering services, serving, and food industry best practices
Ability to adapt quickly to new recipes or kitchen equipment
