Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen operations. This position requires a commitment to excellence in food service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment Assist with meal preparation and plating for service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Adhere to proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
