Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with meal preparation methods and cooking techniques within the restaurant industry. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
