Summary

We are seeking a skilled full time/part time Line Cook to join our team at Elsie's Diner. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that reflect our commitment to using fresh, local ingredients. Your culinary expertise will contribute significantly to the overall dining experience we offer.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment throughout the shift. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. Passion for cooking with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
