a Line Cook

to support the growth of the hotel !

We are looking for a full-time position.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Daycare Meal Preparation:

o Prepare all daycare meals on time following the set daily menu.

o Ensure meals meet nutritional and portion standards.

o Maintain cleanliness and organization in the daycare prep area.

o Report missing inventory (ingredients or supplies) to the kitchen manager promptly to allow restocking.

2. Kitchen Mise en Place Support:

o Assist in preparing ingredients for daily service (cutting, measuring, portioning, etc.).

o Ensure mise en place is organized, labeled, and ready for use by other cooks.

o Communicate with the head chef and kitchen team on prep priorities.

3. Dishwashing (When required):

o Support dishwashing duties if no dishwasher is available and other tasks are complete.

o Keep the dish area clean and sanitary.

4. Frozen Rooster Restaurant Assistance:

o Help the head chef with cooking and prep work for the Frozen Rooster; Maintain speed, cleanliness, and quality during service support.

Qualifications and Expectations:

o Line cook professionnal diploma, an asset;

o Experiences (3-5 years);

o Must complete all assigned tasks within her 9-10 hour shift;

o Daycare meals must be on time and meet quality standards consistently;

o Stay proactive in helping other areas when not busy;

o If anything is unfinished or pending, proper handover to the next shift is required;

o Maintain professional kitchen standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization;

o Communicate openly with the head chef or kitchen manager about issues, shortages, or needs.
