We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining a focus on food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food products.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality in meal preparation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
