Job Posting - Library Clerk - Children's Services

Are you a book lover with a passion for helping kids and families? GPPL is on the lookout for an energetic and friendly individual to join our Children's Services team! As a Library Clerk, you'll bring excitement to the Children's Information Desk, help create magic with new library materials, and tackle a variety of fun tasks that keep things running smoothly.

Position Details

Ideal start date: Monday, September 15, 2025

Wage to be on Grade 6 of GPPL's salary grid (starting at $20.10/hr)

Hours of work can range from 17 to 26 hours per week, with the following schedule:

o Mondays - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

o Tuesdays - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

o Wednesdays - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

o Alternate weekends - Saturdays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Successful candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector as a condition of employment
