Duncan Law is seeking a receptionist commencing early to mid September. Duncan Law is a busy general practice law office on the west side of Calgary. This position has the opportunity for advancement as a Legal Assistant.Job Responsibilities Providing the first point of contact for all clients and visitors Answering the main business phone line and directing phone calls to the appropriate personnel Monitoring general email box, replying to requests, and forwarding to the correct recipient Maintaining personnel schedules and booking appointments Receiving and sorting mail and faxes Scanning documents and assisting with general accounting tasks Assisting with client notarizations Closing Real Estate files Faxing requests Maintaining office cleanliness Collecting payment from clientsThis is a full-time hourly position from 9:00 to 4:30, Monday - Thursday, and 9:00 to 4:00 Friday. Compensation is $17.50 per hour dependent on level of experience.Qualifications and Skills: Previous office experience preferred Self-motivated and independent Time management skills and organization Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Experience using point-of-sale systems Ability to handle and work with confidential information Able to listen and take direction Professionalism and enthusiasmPlease submit your resume and cover letter to the attention of Kristen McQueen.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $17.50 per hourBenefits:
