We're looking for Learning Consultants to support our People and Culture team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Leadership Development, you are primary accountable for championing and integrating culture efforts while developing effective learning solutions that drive, align and create and integrated organization culture with Servus Credit Union. You work at a strategic level partnering with internal stakeholders such as Enterprise Change Management, Leadership Development and Culture. As an expert in the field, you ensure the successful integration and delivery of learning solutions focusing on enhancing the skills and competencies required to enrich the leader and employee change and culture experience. You create the metrics that drive results in addition to the validation, evaluation and re-assessment of the solutions through the lens of optimizing performance for our employees, leaders and overall talent management programs.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Consult with business partners and stakeholders to identify culture learning needs and design learning solutions that bridge skill gaps and support the attainment of business objectives
  • Quickly understand, analyze, and synthesize the impact of diverse business strategies and culture on the development of an effective and long-term learning solution
  • Perform robust learner analysis in order to properly frame learning solutions to the target audience and to design a better learning experience
  • Apply sound learning principles and theories to all design and development to ensure the delivery of best-in-class learning solutions that drives improvement in identified skill development to support business objectives
  • Recognize and develop future talent to build bench strength within Servus
  • Ensure transfer of the learning solution to the Learning Facilitators so that it is skillfully facilitated and delivered in whatever methods of delivery selected
  • Work in collaboration with HR Leaders to address learning gaps and issues while improving employee's job satisfaction
Requirements

To qualify, you'll need at least the following:
  • 2-3 years of experience in creating and facilitating learning and development curriculum, changing individual and organizational behaviors, soft skill development and supporting change management methodology and practices
  • Must be able to identify skill and competency gaps and how to close the gap by designing, delivering, and facilitating learning solutions for individuals and groups.
  • Working knowledge of Adult Learning principles as well as exposure to learning technologies: authoring tools i.e. Captivate and Articulate, LMS and Performance systems, Teams Meeting, SharePoint, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including use of templates
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy and works best when working in a team environment. The incumbent's interpersonal skills will enable them to establish strong working relationships with colleagues and affiliates of Servus.
  • Must also demonstrate an understanding of organizational Talent and People Development Strategies to support individual career progression and organization workforce planning to achieve individual and organizational results.
  • Neuroleadership accreditation
  • Proficient in learning technology to create training and resources
Although not required, the following experience and education/certifications are valuable assets:
  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or diploma strongly recommended
