The Product Learning Consultant (PLC), Wealth is a subject matter expert responsible for collaborating closely with respective business counterparts to provide effective learning advisory and solutions. You will conduct performance consulting and needs analysis, lead advisory efforts, and oversee the product learning portfolio, including prioritization of learning efforts and solutions. They oversee Adaptable Squads of learning specialists aligned to specific initiatives, ensuring that squads deliver on learning needs of the business and drive consistency across learning deliverables.

How you will create impact:

  • Provide expertise and consulting to the business within an assigned product area on the discipline of learning and development.
  • Establish learning strategies for stakeholder groups in partnership with the Distribution Leaders and consultants.
  • Oversee and manage the product learning portfolio and prioritization of learning initiatives to ensure the content and resources are updated.
  • Escalate, review, and provide expertise to project teams deployed to respective missions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support implementation of learning solutions, including change management and communications.
  • Build trusting relationships with stakeholders to determine learning and development needs through analysis and recommend learning solutions.

How you will succeed:

  • You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
  • You have demonstrated ability in executing the transformation of a learning unit from conventional learning strategies and modalities to a state-of-the-art blended program design and delivery, and agile operating models.
  • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
  • You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

Skills/Experience Required for the role:

  • You have seven years of progressive experience in the insurance industry.
  • You have three years of experience in performance consulting and needs analysis.
  • You have three years of experience in Learning and Development.
  • You have completed post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Must have either PFA, QAFP or Mutual Fund License. CFP an asset.
  • For all product lines, you have the Adult Learning Certificate, CTDP*, Performance Consultant Certificate*, Change Management Certificate or equivalent* (*asset, not required)
  • You have superior knowledge in Wealth.

What you need to know:

  • You are required to have your own vehicle, valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and insurance.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends may be required.
