Leadership Recruitment & Talent Management We have an opportunity for two full time Leadership Recruitment Advisors! You will be responsible for supporting the Leadership Recruitment process and working closely with candidates for leadership positions. As the Leadership Recruitment Advisor, you will work with Leadership Recruitment Consultants to facilitate recruitment best practices throughout the hiring process including pre-screening and assessment. You will be a main point of contact for applicants throughout the process and will answer questions, address concerns and keeping them updated on their status in the hiring process. How you\'ll contribute: You\'ll support the hiring process of leadership from the posting of positions to receiving and reviewing applications, prescreening potential candidates and informing consultants on short listed candidates. An integral part of the LHSC Leadership Recruitment Team, your role will include:
  • Providing recommendations for short listing candidates, conducting initial pre-screening assessments, posting requirements, and organizational hiring practices;
  • Developing and managing job postings and providing internal recruitment knowledge
  • Partnering with Leadership Recruitment Consultants to determine tools and approaches for assessment, testing, interviewing, short-listing, selection, candidate communication, ensuring alignment with selection policies
  • Conducting interviews for Expression of Interest (EOI) leadership opportunities
  • Participating in interviews on selection panel as required
  • Determining salary placement for the successful candidates in accordance with salary policy
  • Liaising with Leadership Recruitment Consultants to determine job content information, and validates qualification requirements, conducts job shadows in association with job description creation



Qualifications




As the ideal candidate, you have:
  • Successful completion of a three year diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field; or a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Social Sciences or Business, and a one year Human Resources Management Certificate
  • Minimum three (3) years recent, related job experience in a high volume recruitment setting
  • You are skilled with Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.,) and ideally bring experience with PeopleSoft
  • Possession of strong customer service orientation and has demonstrated experience building and managing professional relationships
  • You have an eye for detail and are willing to go the extra mile for your candidate portfolio, and do not believe in being \xe2\x80\x98transactional\xe2\x80\x99 with your clients
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC\xe2\x80\x99s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
