The Human Resources team is seeking a Senior Talent Management Advisor to partner and lead various cross functional and strategic talent initiatives and programs. Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, you will be a key team member accountable for a variety of company training and development programs and projects to meet the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee talent management programs, including development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Oversee the creation, implementation and delivery of company training, development programs and projects including a variety of leadership, employee and business/commercial acumen programs to meet the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
• Partner with HR Advisors to ensure talent management programs are effectively integrated and executed to ensure quality talent decisions, as well as partner on client-based initiatives.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with other HR teams to support talent effectiveness, engagement, and career progression initiatives.
• Identify development opportunities and drive solutions that maximize and accelerate the growth of high potential talent.
• Partner with the MyHR team on recruitment strategies to advance overall talent management strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist with program administration when required.

Qualifications

• Related university degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development or the social sciences.
• 8 or more years of related work experience in human resources.
• Working knowledge of organizational effectiveness concepts around leadership, employee engagement, corporate culture and employee talent lifecycles.
• A commitment to learn, apply and champion corporate values and leadership principles.
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes.
• Strong project management skills to lead multi-phase projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, business consulting and facilitation skills.
• Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative in-office team environment.
• Ability to travel cross-border between Canada and the USA.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Ovintiv\'s reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $155,000 USD or $112,000 - $155,000 CAD

Compensation may vary and will be determined by the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
