Position: Lead Sushi Cook
We are currently seeking a Lead Sushi Cook to take charge of kitchen operations, lead by example, and ensure the highest standards of sushi preparation. This is a hands-on role for someone experienced, organized, and passionate about Japanese cuisine.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and roll a variety of sushi items with speed and precision
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Train and supervise kitchen assistants (if applicable)
Manage prep schedules and inventory
Help innovate and improve menu items
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of sushi preparation experience
Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset
Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work
