Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Journeyman to join our residential HVAC install division. In this role, you will lead a crew in installing HVAC equipment for residential homes (furnaces, AC's, heat pumps, hot water tanks, etc.). You will ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a crew of residential HVAC installers on furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump installations. Install, assemble, and commission HVAC systems -- including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and controls -- in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Ensure all installations meet safety standards, code requirements, and company quality expectations. Coordinate with homeowners, dispatch, and project coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling and excellent customer experience. Provide on-site training, mentorship, and performance feedback to apprentices and junior installers. Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues, ensuring proper system performance and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any required adjustments or follow-up work.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. Proven ability to lead and mentor installation crews and apprentices effectively. Strong understanding of HVAC system design and installation best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals. Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with homeowners and team members. Dedicated to maintaining a safe job site and delivering high-quality workmanship. Valid G2 Gas Technician License and a clean, valid driver's license. Preferred: 308A or 313D license.
