Job Description

Our residential division is expanding! We are seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join our team and lead our residential crews.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in residential HVAC systems design and installation with a firm understanding of all residential systems including but not limited to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers and water heaters. Although your technical skills enable you to provide the highest level of residential HVAC work, you have a natural affinity to connect well with people, which draws existing and new customers into Micron Mechanical Inc. while inspiring your crew and team to perform at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

- Complete HVAC equipment inspections and repairs in a timely manner, while always adhering to all safety rules

- Professionally install HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications

- Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds the manufacturers codes and municipal building codes and standards

- Provide a positive and safe customer experience on every call

- Technically savvy

- Enjoys training and inspiring your crew/team to provide 5service
- Create a positive relationship with customers by demonstrating your ability to clearly communicate and problem solve and ensure customer satisfaction

- Educate customers on the correct operation of all new installations and provide instructions on proper safety, care and maintenance

- Feel comfortable explaining the benefits of new equipment, promoting products and services and requesting online reviews at every call

- Maintain a company vehicle to clean and safe standards

Qualifications:

- 10+ years' current experience in residential HVAC design and installation

- 3+ years' current experience running a residential HVAC installation crew/team

- Knowledge/experience in residential construction build-outs is an added bonus

- Gas B Ticket or Red Seal Plumbing (preferred)

- Able to quickly troubleshoot problems

- An accountable and responsible personality

- Takes pride in his/her appearance

- Always delivering customer satisfaction with strong customer service skills

- Attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right, the first time

- Ability to adhere to all safety protocols

- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

- Must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder

- Friendly, personable and enjoy making customers smile

Compensation

- Performance based pay with opportunity to make between $800-$1200 per day
