Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and coordinate various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in construction, including expertise in blueprint reading, carpentry, and other related trades. This role requires strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. On the Tools are Required

Duties

Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support throughout project phases. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Oversee concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity. Manage restoration projects, including cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and resource needs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Collaborate with subcontractors for plumbing, electrical work, roofing, siding, caulking, and other specialized services. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring all materials are properly stored.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or related fields with a strong emphasis on maintenance person skills. Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Hands-on experience with framing, siding, windows, and doors, flooring installation, ICF concrete, roofing, drywall and assembly. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
