We're looking for a skilled

Carpenter/Lead Hand

to join our construction team. This role combines hands-on carpentry with the ability to lead crews, manage site activities, and ensure high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Hand Duties

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. Lead and work alongside site workers, subcontractors, and trades. Ensure work is completed to code, spec, and schedule. Support communication with clients, inspectors, architects, and project managers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Monitor supplies and equipment and coordinate deliveries.

Carpentry

Perform framing, finishing, cabinetry, and custom woodwork Interpret blueprints, and technical drawings Maintain and repair structures as needed Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

Legally eligible to work in Canada 5+ years in construction; 2+ years in a supervisory role High school diploma or equivalent Carpentry certification/apprenticeship preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to read blueprints and plans Proficient with tools and safety codes Detail-oriented Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations Ability to lead and motivate teams
