The Role

Business Intelligence
  • Gather, document and define business requirements from diverse stakeholders. Translate those business requirements into technical and analytical requirements.
  • Design and build beautiful, intuitive and insightful data dashboards, visualizations and/or business assets for both internal and external purposes
  • Implement measures to safeguard personal health information in data outputs across multiple jurisdictions and countries
  • Lead data quality or process improvement initiatives to enhance TRC's data and analytics capabilities
Implementation and delivery
  • Manage and prioritize competing client, operational and corporate data and analytics requests
  • Lead other analysts to ensure successful delivery of analytics solutions
  • Create and operationalize key process documentation and standard operating procedures needed to produce, share and maintain quality outputs
  • Apply foundational project management skills to meet timelines, manage scope and escalate risks in projects or programs with data workstream
Collaboration
  • Work with Client Services and Client Success teams to generate insights and product reports on adoption and utilization for all Think Research products and/or programs
  • Work with Product team to ensure analytics alignment to strategic vision and data roadmap
  • Work with Data Engineers to troubleshoot bugs, triage and monitor active requests
  • Contribute to business proposals that surround data and analytics
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum Bachelor's, preferable Master's degree in mathematics, data science, health sciences, health informatics, or comparable field. Work experience in the field can be in lieu of formal education.
  • Demonstrable experience acting as a mentor, coach, or managing a team of business analysts
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools and engines
  • Experience designing and building complex dashboards
  • Knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem and best practices for data safety and security when handling personal health information
  • Ability to think creatively to derive insights that matter through advanced analytics and working with big data
  • Ability to steer and deliver upon data deliverables with loosely defined requirements
  • Ability to manage competing projects from ideation to execution and maintenance
  • Experience working in a client-facing role and comfortable participating in client meetings to gather and define requirements
  • Strong ability to translate complex data requirements across business and technical teams to ensure projects stay on track and meet client expectations
  • Working knowledge of data pipeline, ETL, and data warehousing best practices
