The Credit Investments Engineering Team is looking for a Lead Business Analyst with experience in data analysis and SQL. The successful candidate will be experienced in working closely with the business to gather and document detailed requirements and help iteratively provide solutions.

This position requires someone with high attention to detail, strong sense of creativity, ownership, integrity, and strong analytical & problem-solving skills. The candidate is expected to possess working knowledge in data analytics and financial reporting, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into solutions while working with engineering. The position also requires experience in SQL to create efficient queries and/or views to support the building of reports within the CI applications.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, working directly with the business and engineers to build complex solutions in the financial/investment industry
  • Experience working with a non-relational database (SQL/Oracle/SnowFlake)
  • Ability to perform data mapping, blending and ETL design using available programming languages (e.g., Python)
  • Developing and executing tests to ensure the accuracy and completeness of solutions delivered
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data analytics and visualization activities
  • Other duties as required
  • Previous work experience in an investments operational role would be a strong asset
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent credentials in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, or relevant discipline with a strong appetite for quantitative and statistical data
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to deliver in a constantly changing and fast paced organization
