Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar area, adhering to food safety standards, and managing customer orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Operate the Micros POS system for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines for handling food and beverages. Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience in a cocktail bar is a must with a strong understanding of the food service industry. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. A background in hospitality or serving is beneficial for success in this role. Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
