Human Resources
as a Lead Administrator. The Lead HR Administrator needs to be directly involved and 'hands-on' with our teams on-site. Therefore, the
Lead Administrator will NOT be permitted to work from home.
The Job
:
The Lead HR Administrator oversees daily human resources operations, directs the HR team, handles administrative tasks like maintaining employee records and the hiring process, supports HR functions including benefits, ensures HR policies and legal compliance, and communicates with employees on HR matters.
The lead role adds a layer of team leadership, accountability for service standards, and process improvement for administrator duties.

As a Lead HR Administrator, you will be responsible for
:
Guiding and coaching the HR team
to achieve departmental goals and service standards, while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity
of employee data, employment contracts, the hiring process, and personnel file maintenance.
Providing expert guidance
on HR policies and procedures, addressing employee inquiries, and supporting employee relations initiatives.
Maintaining compliance and accurate processing
of group benefits and RRSP program enrollments, changes, and data entry.
Managing leaves of absence
, including guiding employees through the process, monitoring return-to-work eligibility, and ensuring proper documentation and records are maintained.
Overseeing and maintaining HR systems and databases
, while coordinating and supporting the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Remaining up to date with employment legislation and HR best practices
, conducting internal audits, and supporting organizational compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Providing support and backup to the Lead Payroll Specialist and payroll team
, ensuring continuity of operations.
Performing general HR administrative tasks
, maintaining confidential HR records, and preparing reports and metrics for senior management.

Minimum
2 years
of proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a related HR role

High ethical standards and strong compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
Excellent customer service skills with a people-first mindset
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR software, databases, and general computer applications
